About Pedro
Pedro Bento
As Managing Director of Longueville Manor for nearly 30 years before leaving to create wine.je, Pedro is a familiar face in Jersey. He is well-known across the Island for his love and extensive knowledge of wines and spirits.
Pedro has spent much of his career developing this skill to the point where he has been a Sommelier of the Year semi-finalist and winner too many times to mention as well as receiving Wine & Spirit Education Trust Wine Levels 1-3 and a Level 4 Diploma.
A few highlights of his career so far include organising a sumptuous lunch banquet for HM Queen Elizabeth II, winning Boutique Hotelier UK Hotel Manager of the Year in 2017 and appearing with Rick Stein on his Food Heroes television program promoting the cuisine of Jersey.
